Hey I’m Dave and standup comedy is my life. First of all, I’m a feminist which means I believe women… unless one of them says I’m in the wrong and then I shout about being a feminist.

I think lots of women are hilarious and I love the work they do, I just never connected with Annalise’s comedy. I also never connected with how much more success she’s having at comedy than I am.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m so jealous that I’m also so horny for her, or if it’s just emotional trauma of my own I’m too lazy to work on, but either way, I gotta express these feelings and I’m not looking for constructive methods.

If emotional intelligence was on my radar I’d turn that radar off.

I’m not one of those “writer” comedians. I simultaneously “find it on stage,” but also am somehow disdainful of improvisors. So in order for these toxic urges to make it into my act I needed the help of a writing partner incapable of judgement.
